It is amazing to see how much your children are like you. Kaitlyn's new thing is to find teeny-tiny little places to sit and be "alone" to play - whether it is a cubby between the small coffee table and the couch, or between the weather door and the front door, she seems to bring her little toys - usually a cup/lid/spoon/pacifier - and just sit there a silently play.
It's funny - shove me in a small room unwillingly or into a large crowd of people and I can get a bit claustrophobic, but leave me alone and you will find me curled up in a corner reading a book or on my computer. When I was a little girl my parents had a hutch with two doors at the base and I used to crawl inside this tiny little area and just sit and think. Now, I can see my daughter is the same way. Got to love genetics!
