Weight Watchers

Six and a half years ago when I got married I weighed, well, let's just say -- a lot less than I do now. Over the years with jobs that have required lots of travel and crazy hours my weight has continued to climb to heights it had never reached before.

A friend of mine suggested Weight Watchers but two things came to mind 1) When in my schedule could I ever find time for that 2) I can't afford some expensive diet program.
I kept thinking -- I eat fine! But, the weight kept coming. Then I had a baby and wow the weight went from casually strolling onto my body to quickly jumping aboard.

Finally, one day at work at the end of Feburary, I was sitting in my office at my new job and overheard a group across the hall -- they were discussing WWs -- it was the offical kick-off of an At-Work WW meeting. 10 minutes later I was handing over money (My company actually pays half) and they were handing me information on how to revitalize my life. I had no more excuses -- they meet each week at lunch time literally across from my office and the cost was 1/2 price. It was time!

As of last week I had already lost 6.2 pounds. My next weigh in is tomorrow, so we will see how it goes.

I figured I would post these blogs along my 17 week journey so you can rejoice in the weight loss with me!!
