Today Kaitlyn turned 9 months old! Can't believe how fast these months have flown by! She had her check-up today and the doctor said she is perfect -- of course :) She is 30 inches tall and 22.8 pounds, which is about 99th percentile for height and 95th for weight. Her new things are playing peek-a-boo, trying to walk, crawling of course and feeding herself. It is amazing how quickly she went from an immobile baby to a pre-toddler.

Nine to twelve months is such an exciting time. While 6-9 to me is the cutest baby phase, it seems that the next three month with Kaitlyn are going to be the most full of change -- walking, talking, and all that independence will just burst from her and you'll see more than ever the kind of person God is forming her into.
And great news on all the weight loss! Just in time to have more energy to keep up with the little one, right? Seriously, it is such a sense of personal accomplishment to see the pounds drop off. (By the way, I just weighed this morning, and have finally broken the thirty pound mark -- I'm now at 33 pounds!)
