Here are some pictures :) Actually because of the L-shape of my living/dining room it is hard to tell really how packed it was...
There was one more row below the camera line and people around the corner and in the kitchen
One of the games we played was "Don't say baby" where everyone gets a pin and if you catch someone saying baby you get to take their pins. The one at the end with the most pins wins the game. Everyone got into it, especially Russ (dad-to-be) who won the game. At the end of the party I was cleaning up and I couldn't find my clothes pins -- some of which I borrowed from my mother-in-law. I was in a hurry (we had a B-day party immediately following the shower) so I passed it off as "well, they are here somewhere." That evening at the baby shower the little girl in the picture of above came up to me and said in a sweet soft voice -- "I can say baby now, right?" I replied "Yes, you sure can!" She smiled as if to say "Oh Good," and then said in a hushed and triphumpt tone that only little ones can have added "And, I have all the clothes pins!!" Then looking down I noticed that in the front pockets of her dress/shirt were stuffed all of my missing clothes pins. A small price to pay for the pure joy that little girl had. Oh to be that innocent again!!
