Las Vegas

So, I made a whirlwind trip to Vegas -- flew out Sunday afternoon and came back Monday night. The city of lights -- Sin City -- is without a doubt all that I expected -- flashy, smoky and dirty. Wow! So many people literally gambling their lives away! Now, I am not condemning the occasional game of poker, but when you see signs that say "Cash your paycheck here -- receive two free credits" and I know most of the people who use that service probably will leave without any of that money, it just makes me sad.

Now, on the other hand, I would love to go back to see some of the shows -- great entertainment opportunities -- Cirque Du Soleil, Blue Man Group, etc.
